ZETOR shined at Romanian ploughing championship

For the first time in history, a plowing championship has been held in Romania in the middle of August. Czech tractor manufacturer could not miss this event.

The premiere championship attracted 150 visitors and eight tractors took part in the competition. Three participants came to race with the ZETOR tractor and their position confirmed the good position of the brand. The awards were awarded to ZETOR in the category of best consumption in ploughing with a three mouldboards-plough, the straightest plowing and the best furrow ending. In addition to the main competition, a raffle and an art program were prepared for visitors.

“Events of this type are not common in Romania and the championship was  kind of a test version. However, ZETOR tractors have met our goal. They confirmed that they belong to the world top brands in the field, as well as another Czech brand Sukov, with whose plows they competed,” says Kristina Drienovski of ZETOR TRACTORS SRL.

In the Czech Republic, the plowing championship has a rich tradition. This year's 46th edition will take place on 5 October in Žabčice-Strictice, where ZETOR tractors will of course not be missing.
