ZETOR brand participated in Libramont 2018 Exhibition, Belgium

Belgium hosted the biggest open-air exhibition in Europe – Libramont 2018. The ZETOR brand could not be missing. Libramont 2018 took place in late July presenting PROXIMA and FORTERRA model ranges.

The ZETOR brand represented by its partner Zetrac in cooperation with its dealers was presented at Libramont Exhibition in Belgium. Visitors could see the innovated FORTERRA HSX 140 with improved brakes, the robust FORTERRA HD 150 and the universal PROXIMA 100.

“ZETOR brand has been participating in this even for nearly 20 years. Historically, the Benelux countries are in the area of interest of the ZETOR brand; during the presence of the brand in these countries, several thousands of tractors were exported there. We are happy, that the brand with its 70-year-long tradition is represented in Belgium, where the red tractors are popular,” says Lukáš Krejčíř, Finance Director, ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.

The portfolio of the ZETOR brand currently includes six model ranges: UTILIX, HORTUS, MAJOR, PROXIMA, FORETRRA, and CRYSTAL. Libramont 2018 presented two of them: PROXIMA and FORTERRA.

Tractors of the PROXIMA model range are universal tractors from 80 to 120 hp. They offer a wide range of transmissions (including mechanical one), creeper gears, PowerShift and PowerShuttle.

The FORTERRA model range is outstanding for its robustness and power. The FORTERRA range includes three versions: FORTERRA CL which offers four-cylinder engine with the power from 96 to 136 hp and 24/18 transmission; FORTERRA HSX and HD which is equipped with more up-to-date ECO 40 transmission with 30/30 gears, torque multiplier and electro-hydraulic reverser. The new transmission allows the tractor to reach the maximum speed (40 kph) at lower revolution (1,800 rpm). This optimization results in fuel savings by up to 18 %, noise reduction and lower engine wear and tear. FORTERRA HD offers higher power (up to 147 hp), more robust body and ergonomic multifunctional control panel.

The Libramont Exhibition is considered the biggest farming open-air event in Europe. It takes place annually on the area of 300 000 m². It usually presents around 5,000 brands and attracts about 220,000 visitors. Internationally, Libramont Exhibition is important mainly in France, Luxembourg and partly Germany and the Netherlands.
