The ZETOR tractors succeed at Tilling Championship of the Czech Republic

The ZETOR tractors were successful at this year’s 46th Tilling Championship of the Czech Republic that took place on 5 October 2019 in Žabčice u Brna. The ZETOR tractors took the podium in five categories and were also dominant in other positions. Apart from success in the competition, the event was key for the ZETOR brand because of the Czech première of the new design PROXIMA model.

The biggest success was second place taken by the ZETOR CRYSTAL HD 170 model in the four plus ploughshare category. Third place was taken by the ZETOR 7711 model in the category of classic single-sided two and three carried ploughshares, also the ZETOR 3511 in the historical machinery category (oldtimers, classic ploughs) and the ZETOR 7745 in the juniors category. This year, only one tractor won the historical machinery category (oldtimers, reversible ploughs), the ZETOR 3011.

“It is clear from the competition results that the ZETOR tractors do their work excellently regardless of whether the older or newer models are concerned. We are glad that they confirmed their indispensable position in Czech agriculture on domestic soil,” says Jakub Hurta, Marketing Manager at ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.

However, the ZETOR tractors not only tilled the fields, but were also presented to the customers at the ZETOR stand. The new design PROXIMA model, again by Pininfarina had its première on the Czech market. All the other models from the portfolio of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. were also on exhibit. The CRYSTAL HD 170 model with SUKOV ARCOAGRO 6+ plough was presented by the technician to the visitors within the scope of a guided tour. The visitors could also give it a tilling trial.

“The unfavourable weather did not affect the number of visitors; on the contrary, the young and adult visitors enjoyed the event. Besides, we all at least tested the field conditions that the farmers encounter many a time during their work,” says Jakub Hurta.
