Ploughing of the Century Event Will See PROXIMA Tractors in their New Design

We are excited to invite all fellow agricultural enthusiasts to the 46th year of the Czech Republic Ploughing Championship, taking place on 5 October in Žabčice near Brno. In addition to the main event, you can look forward to a plentiful and varied accompanying programme. The event also marks the debut of the new design for the PROXIMA model line, selected ZETOR brands with SUKOV ploughs, the opportunity to test the CRYSTAL model with the SUKOV ARCOAGRO 6+ semi-mounted plough and much more.

The contest itself is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and organized into four categories: multi-share, double-share, vintage (manufactured in 1969 or e+3arlier) and horse ploughing. Come cheer for ZETOR tractors, which of course will be in attendance!

In addition to the contest, you will also be able to see the ZETOR tractors at the stall of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s., which has selected the event as one of the stations for the ZETOR TRACTOR SHOW. The PROXIMA model line, once again derived from a concept of the Italian studio Pininfarina, will be introduced. You will also see all the tractors from the company’s portfolio together with SUKOV ploughs. These shall include MAJOR aggregated with the SUKOV KATLAND 3+ one sided plough, PROXIMA aggregated with the SUKOV JUNIOR ROTO 3+1 reversible plough, FORTERRA aggregated with the SUKOV DOWNHIL 4+1 plough and CRYSTAL aggregated with the SUKOV ARCOAGRO 6+ semi-mounted plough. The last-mentioned combination of the CRYSTAL model with the SUKOV ARCOAGRO 6+ plough will be available for try-outs and a guided tour. Naturally, the traditional ZETOR show-truck will also be present.

The ploughing championship is one of the most prestigious ploughing events in the history of modern Czech agriculture. This year's 46th year is also a part of the 100th anniversary of the Mendel University. As a nod to the anniversary, this year’s event will bear the motto “Ploughing of the Century”.
