TechDay in ZETOR - a meeting of developers from the automotive field

Just before the Easter holidays, a one-day meeting of selected Czech and Slovak companies interested in research and development in the field of automotive took place at ZETOR TRACTORS. Representatives of companies such as TATRA TRUCKS, ZF Engineering, and MOTORPAL were present, including company TechSoft Engineering, which initiated the entire TechDay. Experts from Mendel University and Brno University of Technology also attended. The main goals of the event were the sharing of experience, information, and news between industry-related companies and the possibility to establish future cooperation.

As part of the program, company representatives took part in a guided tour of ZETOR GALLERY. In this unconventional museum, directly adjacent to the ZETOR TRACTORS production site, guests first got acquainted with the rich history of the ZETOR brand in the exhibition of historic tractors. In the showroom, they were introduced to machines from the company's current portfolio. The subsequent excursion to the production plant and the Research and Development department facilities introduced the visitors to the process of designing, testing, and manufacturing ZETOR tractors. The afternoon block was then devoted to the introduction of companies, presentations on the use of technical simulations in the research and development field, and discussions on professional topics.

"The whole event met our expectations and ZETOR set a high standard for possible future meetings. Feedback from participants and technicians who were present on relevant professional topics was positive. I believe that another of the participating companies will pick up the baton and that a similar event will be repeated regularly. At the same time, I hope that the group of experts will grow because I see this as a great opportunity to connect and enhance the Czech industry," said Marek Buchar, technical director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s., whose department took on the role of hosting this premiere meeting.
