ZETOR scores again in the Czech Ploughing Championship
This year, the town of Peruc has hosted the 43rd year of the Czech Republic Ploughing Championship. ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. was one of the partners of this event. One of the contestants was the winner of several previous years, Václav Milík, with his ZETOR PROXIMA. As a part of the program, visitors could test ZETOR tractors in testing rides.

On September 17, the town of Peruc hosted a nationwide championship with tens of contestants coming from all over the country and competing in six categories. The tractor competitions were accompanied with an interesting program; among other things, visitors could test ZETOR tractors in real operation. They could also see ZETOR CRYSTAL 160 with a sex-share plough which also took part in the competition. The display of ZETOR included also models of the FORTERRA and PROXIMA model ranges as well as the oldtimer ZETOR 2511. The latest machines of the ZETOR brand were presented right in the field and visitors of the event could take part in testing rides with tractors meeting the Stage IV emission standard.
The ploughing championship has been taking place annually since 1963. Every year, it is organized by the Czech Ploughing Society, z.s. ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. is a partner of the organizer and also a supporter of Václav Milík, a multiple winner of the championship who competes with ZETOR PROXIMA tractors in the category of double ploughs. He has won the championship for fourteen times. Another great achievement was made by Martin Svoboda, who won the category of four-share and multiple-share ploughs with his CRYSTAL 160.
Just one week before the event, Václav Milík took part in the World Ploughing Championship which took place in York, England. In a world-wide competition, he and his ZETOR PROXIMA were in the 16th place out of 27 participants. Congratulations for his success!
