ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. invites all farmers, agricultural professionals, and the public to the traditional exhibition Farmer’s Day, which will take place on September 10–11, 2025 at the airfield near the village of Kámen by Pelhřimov. ZETOR will present the new Series 6 tractor, which visitors will have the chance to test themselves on the polygon during dynamic rides. Alongside the Series 6, the COMPAX and MAJOR models will also be showcased in a static display at exhibition area 119.
The new Series 6, which entered serial production this summer, is the first model of an entirely new generation of ZETOR tractors, and a hands-on driving experience is key to understanding the differences compared to previous generations.
“Our goal is to give farmers the chance to experience the transformation ZETOR is going through. Our new Series 6 is different in every way – robust, comfortable, and powerful. The best way to recognize this difference is to sit directly in the cab and test the machine yourself. That’s why we changed our marketing strategy this year and plan to focus primarily on events where people can really touch and try the machines in real conditions,” says Adam Žert, Marketing Director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.
In addition to the Series 6, visitors to the ZETOR booth will also be able to explore the COMPAX compact tractor with a cab modification for greater safety and comfort at work, as well as the traditional MAJOR model, a versatile 75 HP helper.
The Series 6 is built for demanding customers looking for modern technology and high user comfort. The tractor delivers power ranging from 131 to 171 HP, features a highly efficient Deutz TCD 4.1 four-cylinder engine compliant with Stage V emission standards, and a completely new ZF TPT 16 transmission with up to 54 forward and 27 reverse gears. Main gear shifting is done manually via the gear lever, the multiplier is controlled automatically, and reversing is electrohydraulic. The more robust transmission design also allows the rear axle load to be increased to 8.5 tons, with a payload of around 5 tons and a total weight of up to 11.5 tons. The Series 6 also offers a powerful hydraulic system with an axial piston pump delivering 120 l/min. The rear three-point hitch has a lifting capacity of up to 9.7 tons, and the front hitch can handle 3.5 tons. The machine also boasts a newly designed cab with pressurized ventilation, high comfort, and equipment for precision farming. It is the first machine of the new product generation to which ZETOR is gradually transitioning.
ZETOR warmly invites all visitors to Farmer’s Day in Kámen to stop by its booth and, most importantly, to take the opportunity to personally test the new Series 6 on the tractor polygon. Another chance to experience the Series 6 will be at Poland’s Agro Show Bednary from September 19.
Serial production of the Series 6 began in summer 2025, and the company plans to manufacture more than 60 units of this model by the end of the year. The new tractor has also been nominated for the prestigious European Tractor of the Year 2025 (TOTY) competition, with the award ceremony taking place at the Agritechnica trade fair in Hannover this November.
Currently, ZETOR is also actively working on the development of the Series 5 (100–130 HP), expected to launch at the end of 2026, as well as the Series 7 – a six-cylinder tractor with over 200 HP, designed to complement the offering for large enterprises and specialized operations.
