ZETOR IS NOT ENDING, IT STAYS IN BRNO!
In recent days, you may have seen several reports in the media and online platforms with inaccurate and misleading information regarding our company. Hereby we would like to provide you with a few facts that have been misinterpreted in the media.
ZETOR is not ending in Brno and is not shifting its production to India. The Brno plant will undergo a structural transformation by the end of the year due to the changeover to a new generation of tractors. In September this year, ONLY the primary production of engines and transmissions will end in Brno.
ZETOR has been present in India for several years. However, tractors produced in India do not meet the strictest emission standards that apply in Europe or North America. Therefore, Indian production is only intended for the local market and for export to countries in Africa, South America or Asia.
ZETOR in Brno is still responsible for the development, production and sales of 80-170 HP models in the Stage V emission class for the EU and North American markets.
