ZETOR at AGROTECH show in Kielce, Poland
ZETOR tractors were presented at AGROTECH show in Kielce being very successful when the new MAJOR HS, having its Polish premiere, was awarded the prize of the professional jury for an ideal combination of power and robustness in the category of small and middle-class tractors. ZETOR SYSTEM front loaders and forestry extension were presented together with ZETOR tractors.
The ZETOR stand took the area of 500 sq. m. and attracted the visitors to see the tractors of the MAJOR, PROXIMA, and FORTERRA ranges: MAJOR 80, PROXIMA 100 HS with forestry extension, PROXIMA CL 80, FORTERRA HSX and FORTERRA HD.
The exhibition grounds in Kielce witnessed the regional premiere of one of ZETOR’s innovations: the general public was presented with the new MAJOR HS equipped with the ZETOR SYSTEM front loader. The tractor was very successful at AGROTECH; it was awarded by the professional jury for an ideal combination of power and robustness. “We are very happy about the success of the ZETOR tractor. The MAJOR model range was launched in 2013. Thanks to its versatility, robustness and reliability, it became very popular with customers. The range is represented by two products – MAJOR CL and the innovation MAJOR HS. The basic MAJOR CL model is equipped with four-cylinder engine with the power of 61 or 76 HP, mechanical transmission with 12 gears forward and 12 reverse, maximum speed of 30 KPH and mechanical hydraulics with manual operation. On the other hand, MAJOR HS is a versatile assistant which meets the requirements of more demanding customers who are looking for comfort, low operation costs and bigger variability of a tractor. The major innovation of the tractor is a new transmission employing 24 gears forward and 12 reverse. The tractor is equipped with two-stage PowerShift and hydraulic PowerShuttle which makes it possible to change the direction of travel even under loading. If compared to the CL model, the new tractor is by 10 KPH faster, reaching the maximum speed of 40 KPH. It is exceptional for above-standard lifting force, reaching up to 3,300 kg. The cabin offers more storage slots, adjustable steering column, passenger seat, and new dashboard.
“The development of MAJOR HS drew from market analysis and respecting the wishes of customers; therefore, we believe that the tractor is going to be popular with customers. Since the beginning of this year, it has been presented in a number of countries and the customers’ first reactions are positive,” says Robert Todt, Sales and Marketing Director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.
This year, it has been the 23rd year of the AGROTECH show which is one of the most popular and biggest farming events in Poland. On an area over 60,000 sq. m., more than 750 exhibitioners presented their products. During the three days of the exhibition, 60,000 people visited the event, thousands of them seeking the ZETOR stand.
“Since the appearance of the show in Kielce, we have participated regularly. The exhibitions is very important for us mainly due to its timing: it takes place just before the beginning of the spring season when a number of farmers are thinking about purchasing new machines. Customers have an outstanding opportunity at the show to become familiar with the tractors and equipment and make their decisions while buying new machines,” says Arkadiusz Fułek, commenting on the importance of the exhibition.
