Zetor has introduced a unique technological innovation making the job of all farmers easier. HitchTronic is a new function which automatically regulates the rear three-point hitch so that the tractor gets adjusted to the terrain without the necessity of the operator to control it. This makes the operator’s work much easier. It shall be appreciated not only by novices to the job but by experienced tractor drivers as well.

HitchTronic software makes operating Zetor tractors more comfortable and much simpler. The only thing that must be set by the operator is the required depth of tillage and HitchTronic automatic regulation adjusts other settings of the tractor during the whole course of work.
“Automatic regulation guarantees an easy and intuitive control of the tractor without complicated instructions. Moreover, it is effective as this way good working results can be achieved independently from the skills of the operator, the quality of soil thed the type of device. If compared to manual non-optimum adjusting, it has been proved that activating HitchTronic results both in fuel saving and increase in work efficiency,” Marián Lipovský, deputy CEO and production director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. said.
Of course, activating HitchTronic automatic regulation does not affect the functionality of other existing features of electronic regulation of the tractor’s lifting mechanism in any way. At any time, operators can switch between automatic and manual regulations and control the adjusting of all working parameters themselves.
HitchTronic Software is going to be newly installed in all produced models of the Forterra range from January 2012 on.
Activating HitchTronic is really easy. To set Hitchtronic , turn the potentiometer (power/position regulation) to the “red” area. After reaching set position, the power which is used as rated value is measured and regulation is activated. Repeat this any time you change settings of the switch or potentiometer.
