Brno, 5 September 2012: Zetor has acquired the prestigious Zlatý klas s kytičkou 2012 and Zlatý kosák 2012 award for its new Zetor Forterra HSX tractor series. Zlatý klas s kytičkou award was granted by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic within the 39th year of the international Země Živitelka 2012 exposition in České Budějovice. For the first time in the history of the exposition, the award was presented in the category of mechanisation. The equally important Zlatý kosák contest took place within the 39th year of the Agrokomplex international food and agriculture exposition in Nitra (Slovakia).
The Zetor Forterra HSX 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140 model series presents an universal tractor that is aimed at aggregation with agricultural machines and industrial adapters. The key innovation is the Power Shuttle, which is a smooth, fully automated reverse controlled by a lever under the steering wheel, the new transmission system with 30 speeds in forward and reverse, a 3° automatic torque multiplicator (Power Shift), the higher lifting power of the hydraulic system and the technological novelty HitchTronic with which the tractor adapts itself to any terrain conditions whilst ploughing.
“Zetor Forterra HSX tractors not only ease work for their owners, but also reduce operation costs. We managed to reduce fuel consumption, and in the end lower tractor operation costs for our customers, which is undoubtedly a major issue given the continual growth of fuel prices,” says Marián Lipovský, deputy CEO and Production Director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. “I would also point out the technical innovation HitchTronic, which has already received the international Agrotech award this year,” adds Lipovský.
The Zlatý klas 2012 contest for the best exhibit traditionally took place at the 39th year of the international Země živitelka exposition under the expert auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. The best selected exhibits, which also fulfil demanding ecological criteria, competed for Zlatý klas s kytičkou 2012. This superior exposition award was granted to Zetor based on its presentation and defence before an expert committee. For the first time in history, the Zlatý klas s kytičkou was awarded in the category of mechanisation. This year’s Země živitelka exposition was honoured for instance by the attendance of President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus and Cardinal Dominik Duka. Both important guests also visited the Zetor exposition, which was dominated by this year’s Forterra HSX novelty.
Honourable guests were present at the Agrokomplex exposition as well, including Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico and deputies and ministers from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.
