FORTERRA HD 150 scored at exhibitions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
FORTERRA HD scored at exhibitions which took place in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in late August. The modernized tractor employing STAGE IV won the prestigious prizes of “Zlatý kosák” and “Zlatý klas” at “Agrokomplex” and “Země Živitelka”. The judges appreciated not only the technical solution but also fuel savings which are very convenient for customers.
The exhibitions of “Agrokomplex” in Nitra and “Země Živitelka” in České Budějovice proved that STAGE IV in the model range of FORTERRA deserves attention.
“Over the past 15 years, legal regulations reduced emissions produced by combustion tractor engines by 95 %. In comparison with STAGE IIIB, STAGE IV brings about eight times lower levels of nitrogen oxides,” says David Kollhammer, Technical Director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.
To reach STAGE IV, ZETOR uses a combination of the technology of active DPF filter (Diesel Particulate Filter) and the SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). The complex solution of STAGE IV brings to the customers benefits in the form of torque optimization. In comparison with its competitors, ZETOR solution of STAGE IV has fewer electronic features and, most importantly, saves fuel, which has been proved by an independent test carried out by Mendel University in Brno.
“One of the pillars of ZETOR brand is effectiveness. FORTERRA model range offers fuel savings to customers. If for instance we are working with a 20-tonne trailer in economic mode, fuel savings are 15-20 %,” says Adam Žert, Sales and Marketing Director of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.
The professional judges at the exhibitions appreciated the presented solution and FORTERRA HD 150 won the prize “Zlatý kosák” at Agrokomplex and “Zlatý klas” at “Země Živitelka”.

During the exhibitions, ZETOR stand was visited by important representatives of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Thus, the modernized FORTERRA model range was presented for example to Miloš Zeman, the President of the Czech Republic; Bohuslav Sobotka, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic; Marian Jurečka, the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic; and to Gabriela Matečná, the Minister of Agriculture of the Slovak Republic.
